Seven Seas' senior security consultant, D. K. Jaytirtha, has become the UAE's first Symantec Certified Security Practitioner (SCSP). The certificate is awarded to candidates that master any two Symantec security categories and can demonstrate general security knowledge with an industry certification such as a CISSP.

According to the company, Jaytirtha's achievement will give it an advantage in the local marketplace and strengthen its affiliation with Symantec.

"The certification gives us a competitive edge because there is limited security knowledge and expertise in the marketplace today," says Hasan Zaheer, product manager for Software Solutions at Seven Seas.

"Achieving the SCSP certification will further enhance Seven Seas' creditability and strengthen its position as a complete security solutions provider," he adds.
