The Independent IT Vendors Debate and Conference organised by Datamatix and due to be held on 19th November 2003 at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel Dubai is promising an informative session with particular focus on the future of the regional IT industry.

Organisers of the events say it aims to provide conference and discussion on the future of hardware, software, services, application integration and other vital issues considered as challenges for the future of IT in the region.

"It will be an interesting event for the IT decision makers to understand where the major IT companies are heading and when to select them as your vendor and in which areas they are not the best choice to be your IT partner" explains Ali Al Kamali managing director Datamatix.

Conference discussions will consider Future of Technology issues such as 'Merits and Demerits' of vendor's technological strategies and their impact on the Middle East IT end users choice for IT Vendor selection, while the debates will present an opportunity for regional IT decision makers to review their IT vendor's selection policy. Topics on the agenda include the credibility of multimillion-dollar information technology systems and their expected results for organisations.

Over the past few years government and private organisations from the region has undertaken many multimillion projects to incorporate information technology based solutions to their business processes. It is most important for IT companies who are providing these solutions to work closely with the region's organisations and know the pulse of the end users says Datamatix.
