Orbit Satellite Television & Radio Network has opened a second showroom and customer service centre in Bahrain. The decision is part of Orbit's plan to improve customer service in Bahrain.

"We noticed a significant increase in subscription numbers in the Kingdom in general and in Riffa area specifically," commented Orbit president and CEO Samir Abdul Hadi. " So in order to keep the high level of customer service, we decided to open this new showroom that will provide support services and will be convenient for those customers who live in the neighbouring areas of Rifaa," he added.

The new showroom in Riffa will be open from 10am to 1pm, and from 8pm to midnight during Ramadan. "Orbit has succeeded in becoming the pioneering provider of quality home TV entertainment to its subscribers, and as a result the subscription numbers are rapidly increasing throughout the region. By adopting this strategy, the Orbit experience only gets better," commented Ali Ajouz, Orbit's VP of Marketing and Public Relations. "We hope that increasing the amount of services to our customers will improve the high quality home TV entertainment experience through the provision of excellent customer service," he added.

The network, which made its debut in 1994 as the world's first fully-digital, multi-channel, multi-lingual, direct to home pay television service headquartered in Bahrain, has many offices across the Middle East and North Africa including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Tunisia and Egypt. The Orbit footprint covers the whole of the Middle East and North Africa from Morocco to Iran.
