ASUS has released a limited edition version of its RADEON 9800XT graphics card, which features a black case, CD holder and a USB 2.0-based 7-in-1-card reader.

The company is only offering 2,000 units of this limited edition graphics card and said the offer is in recognition of its record monthly shipments of 700,000 units in September. Billed as a collector's item, the bundled USB 2.0-based card reader supports SD, MMC, 3.3V SM, MD, Type I/II CF, MS and MS Pro formats.

ASUS claim its RADEON 9800XT card was created: "to meet demands from users who want the performance and visual realism of the latest ATI RADEON 9800XP Visual Processing Unit (VPU)."

The RADEON 9800XT graphics card is the flagship of ASUS' all-new ATI line and fully supports Microsoft DirectX 9. Asus claims the card gives the best performance and visual realism for the latest, hyper-realistic games such as Half-Life 2.

One of the more intriguing features on this graphics card is GameFace, which allows gamers to see and talk to friends while playing online games. It's also a videophone that saves you money on long distance phone bills.
