DHL UAE has opened an air express centre in the Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone, further expanding its network in the Northern Emirates.

“We are committed to being present in key business locations throughout the Emirates and the RAK Free Zone, with around 145 companies from around the world operating in the commercial, consulting and industrial arenas, was an obvious base for growth,” says David Wild, general manager, DHL UAE.

The express centre is designed along DHL’s business centre concept, which allows customers to drop off and pick up shipments. “These customer-friendly centres have been highly [welcome] in other emirates, namely Sharjah and Fujairah, because they transform the client’s impressions of the pick-up and delivery experience,” says Wild.

The RAK Free Zone centre, which is open six days a week, has seating for customers, a phone for customer use and customer facilities for accessing DHL’s shipment track & trace service and the company’s website.
