Ministry of Public Works sketches out spending plans

Approximately Dh287 million will be spent on 31 projects by the Ministry of Public Works & Housing. Tenders will be issued after the Construction Design Section as the ministry finished the primarily designs of the projects.

Approximately Dh287 million will be spent on 31 projects by the Ministry of Public Works & Housing. Tenders will be issued after the Construction Design Section as the ministry finished the primarily designs of the projects, according to a statement. The projects include about 15 to be executed for the Ministry of Education & Youth in Fujairah with an estimated cost of Dh146 million. Constructing a public library affiliated to the Ministry of Information at Masafi area in the Northern Emirates will be among the projects to be executed at a cost of Dh6.5 million. About 11 projects at a cost of Dh75 million for the Ministry of Interior will also be carried out. The projects will include the construction of police points in Al Massafi and Al Manai areas, a library in Al Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah each, police centres in Kalbaa, Sharjah Eastern Region, and Al Mamora area in Ras Al Khaimah, building a civil defence centre in Al Sajaa and Al Hamriya areas in Sharjah, among others.
