Panasonic set to reveal new projectors

Panasonic has announced it will use this years Dubai Gitex 2003 event to unveil its latest range of ultra compact LCD projectors.

Panasonic has announced it will use this years Dubai Gitex 2003 event to unveil its latest range of ultra compact LCD projectors.Pick of the bunch is the top of the range PT-LC80, which picked up a 4 out of 5 rating in the LCD projector group test, featured in the October issue of Windows Middle East. The micro-portable PT-LC80 weighs just 2.2kgs and is the same size as an A4 size sheet, with a height of just 65mm. Its 2,000 ANSI Lumens brightness received plenty of plaudits in the Windows group test and Panasonic are confident the new product will be received well in the region. “The Middle East represents a growing market for office systems that are equipped with the latest technology and offer a price benefit over other brands. Our latest range of LCD projectors are slim, stylish, compact and secure enough to be carried anywhere. They are simple to set-up and deliver uncompromising performance, making them ideal for important business presentations and meeting”, said Hitoshi Shigetomi, manager of the system sales department, Panasonic Marketing Middle East FZE.The PT-LC80 has a number of anti-theft features, such as a control panel lock that prevents operation without the remote control. Panasonic also claim that the model has a set up time of less than 1.5 seconds.
