Courier company, Aramex has partnered with Saudi PC assembler, Zai Technologies, to distribute hardware purchased from its online store. Zai, a subsidiary of Al Faisaliah Group, has recently went live with an online configuration and ordering system through web site — www.zai.com.sa.

Under the terms of the deal, Aramex will deliver the PC anywhere in the Kingdom within 48 hours of ordering. Payment will be handled on a ‘cash on delivery’ basis.

“We are pleased to have been selected as Zai Computers’ exclusive logistics partner for shipping computers door-to-door to online shoppers in the Kingdom. This makes it convenient for customers to place the order online and pay only when the consignment arrives,” explains Othman Al Jeda, vice president Upper Gulf & Saudi Arabia, Aramex International.

“With our reliable logistics network, enabling complete accessibility to all areas, we are well positioned to help Zai in expanding their reach to all areas of the Kingdom, even the most remote,” he adds.

Zai site allows clients to customise their machines according to the needs and assembled within one day from the date of order.

“Aramex has a strong reputation as a provider of effective transportation solutions in the Middle East and worldwide with over 20 years of experience – the company was a natural choice to handle our debut project of online PC purchases,” says Bassam Abu Baker, general manager, Al Faisaliah Group.
