First Virtual Communications (FVC.COM) is highlighting the simplicity, cost effectiveness and ease of use of its Click to Meet Express solution. The platform, which allows users to meet online and conduct collaborative meetings through the use of video, messaging and presentation tools, is seen as especially pertinent for the Middle East market.

The dispersed nature of many regional offices results in constant travel for many Middle East employees. Furthermore, many local offices are still governed by European headquarters. As such, FVC.COM highlights the cost savings and on-the-fly functionality of its solution.

“Our goal is to offer solutions and services that streamline business routines, improve the quality of communications, improve cost efficiency and generate increased revenues for our customers,” says K.S. Parag, regional director of FVC.COM Middle East.

Cost savings are available to users in many different ways, according to Parag. Aside from reducing the travel budgets for companies, the solution is also free for users to download.

“Click to Meet delivers the most complete and competitive web conferencing solution around, offering easy installation, cost effective concurrent user licensing and no costly per minutes charges such as those incurred with teleconferencing solutions that use analogue or ISDN lines,” explains Parag.

The vendor also draws attention to the ease of use of the solution, comparing its simplicity to the use of e-mail or MSN Messenger, a platform which also integrates with the Click to Meet product. For example, users can be invited into a web conference via MSN Messenger.

“If you can send an e-mail, you can use this solution,” comments Bruce Withington, FVC.COM, UK. “All you require is a laptop or PC, a web camera and internet access,” he adds.
