Dubai based Inkture Consulting Group has launched its balanced scorecard and process guide products in the local market. Aimed at senior managers within medium to large enterprises, the solutions help build a comprehensive picture of business operations. This in turn facilitates better management and the more effective delivery of business goals and strategies within an organisation.

“Strategies often fail because they are not converted successfully into actions that employees can understand and apply in their everyday work,” explains Mohammed Ashraf, CEO of Inkture Consulting Group. “It is this aspect that the balanced scorecard addresses,” he says.

According to Ashraf, the concept of balance scorecards has been around almost a decade, but they are only now being taken online. By migrating them to an online environment, the CEO argues that they are more intuitive and more easily accessible.

“Speed and versatility, through an easy to use software and web interface is what makes this concept a success,” says Ashraf.

The balance scorecard solutions focus on four key strategic areas — finance, customers, internal business processes, and learning and innovation. The solutions require organisations to identify goals and measures for each of these sectors that can then be worked towards by everyone within the company. If this is done, then the benefits should be obvious.

“Both balanced score card and process guides help companies and organisations identify and analyse costs, improve productivity, and target their markets better than the competition,” says Ashraf.
