Tech Access has extended its reach across the region, with the opening of three new regional offices for the Middle East. The offices, in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Morocco, will help provide support to local partners in-country.

As Sun Microsystems’ channel development partner for the region, Tech Access provides a number of services to resellers, including technical and sales support, marketing and training. With the new offices, the company hopes to strengthen these product offerings.

“By extending our network into these territories, Tech Access will further build and strengthen Sun resellers’ position in the Middle East, through the provision of on-site marketing and technical support,” said Shomail Ghalib, managing director, Tech Access. “Providing support at a local level gives us the chance to help resellers identify new business opportunities, offer higher levels of product service and ultimately increase the overall success of their organisations.”

The local offices will provide support to partners in-country and in neighbouring territories. Tech Access has appointed a number of new partners in recent months, in Egypt, Saudi and Morocco, and the local offices will help provide services in a much more timely fashion.

David Alessi, Tech Access’ new country manager for Saudi Arabia commented: “One of the biggest advantages for resellers will be having pre-sales advice from us when they need it and where they need it. Our support will enable them to make decisions faster and reduce their time to market.”
