HP has delved deep into its budget to host its annual Boot camp this July offering Channel Partners from around the region the opportunity to re-certify and to expand their sales and technical skills.

Over 250 channel partners from as far as Egypt and Jordan attended the event wishing to learn more about HP’s latest technology and to be ready for the launch of the ‘Business Partner Programme’ opening in September 2003 according to the vendor.

“For HP we feel that it is very important that all our channel partners are introduced to the full specifications of our products, as this in turn improves the total customer experience,” said Joseph Hanania, regional general manager HP Middle East.

The HP Certified Professional programme is structured with four certification focus areas: sales, pre-sales, integration and operating systems. Under each certification focus area, there are increasing levels of achievement that the channel partners may pursue in the technology of their choice.

“The success of this event is evident with registrations being in excess of 250 attendees. This shows that our channels are as committed as HP is, to providing the best services and solutions to our customers,” Hanania added.

HP’s Certified Professional programme is benchmarked around the world to ensure validation of the technical and sales competencies and expertise needed to plan, deploy, support and service HP technology and solutions.
