Al Yousuf Group plans to construct what may become one of Dubai’s most wired buildings. Rega Al Buteen, located next to the Hilton on Dubai Creek, will feature wireless and IP technology, allowing residents and businesses to access the web wirelessly throughout.

“There really isn’t a building like this anywhere else in the UAE,” said Ahmed Al Yousuf, vice chairman, Al Yousuf Group. “From its unparalleled location, to its outstanding facilities, to the size of its living and business spaces, this development stands at the forefront of the Dubai style and property markets.”

The 16 storey building will offer 36 high-end, four bedroom apartments, including seven duplex residences. Commercial facilities will be available on the ground and mezzanine levels.

Planned high-tech treats include support for universal messaging, which allows residents to retrieve voice mail as well as e-mail from their PCs and receive notification on their mobiles that an e-mail has arrived.

Arif & Bintoak is the consulting architect and engineer, and Al Rostamani-Pegel is the contractor. Future Technology, a division of the Al Yousuf Group, will take care of the technical side of things.
