New Horizons’ Middle East master franchise holder, Al Khaleej Training, has re-opened its Cairo centre, boosting both the number of courses on offer and the number of students that the centre will be able to handle.

The 1400 square metre facility is located in the centre of Cairo opposite the Sheraton Hotel. New Horizons will be offering a range of courses at the centre, including Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle and English language. The company is looking to expand the number of centres it has in the country from two, one in 6th October and one in Alexandria, up to 10 or 11 in the near future.

The company’s EMEA vice-president, Timothy Kleczka also says that New Horizons has been having talks with government ministries, such as the Ministries of Education and Communications, as well as USAID, about how they can promote IT literacy in the country.
