MyTravelChannel.com, one of the Middle East’s most popular travel web sites, has launched a new feature that allows customers to monitor the status of their holiday bookings.

“By using the new mybooking tab, customers will be able to monitor their tailor-made bookings online and be in complete control in getting updated information that will help in planning their perfect holiday,” said Simon Lewis, e-ventures group manager, myTravelChannel.com.

Rather than relying on an e-mail or phone call from the travel partners, the mybooking facility allows users to get updates on the status of their request online. When a customer logs on to view the status of their booking, the myTravelChannel.com team immediately gets in touch with Galileo to ensure the information provided is the most updated in terms of schedules, timings etc.

“After listening to our customers’ feedback, we enhanced our services so they can access to their travel bookings via the internet with the same ease and convenience as a retail customer,” added Lewis.
