The recently launched Sniffer Distributed 4.3 solution ensures increased reporting, analysis and modularity, enabling it to evolve with the network as requirements change.

Patrick Hayati, regional director of Network Associates in the Middle East, said, the solution would provide users in the Middle East ‘a powerful tool’ to implement sophisticated network protection strategies.

“The new solution is designed to anticipate, isolate and diagnose network faults to effectively resolve network performance issues before they can harm business operations,” Hayati said.

Sniffer Distributed 4.3 can be deployed across an entire network, and its capability for monitoring and analysing network traffic allows for unmatched levels of visibility and understanding into network issues that affect overall business processes.

“Businesses in the Middle East need to protect themselves against malicious attacks which can prove highly disastrous and lead to losses running into millions of dollars. The flip side of technology is that failure to install network protection system can bring a serious setback to business. Network Associates has been providing cutting-edge technology for network protection with a high degree of success to the world’s biggest corporations, and is extending the same solutions to the Middle East clients. Sniffer Distributed 4.3 is the latest in the long list of advanced solutions in our portfolio,” said Hayati.

Network Associates, which is renowned globally for its McAfee anti-virus solutions, recently, also introduced a next generation range of anti-spam solutions and intrusion detection systems in the Middle East. The Sniffer Distributed software considerably enhanced the company’s suite of solutions available for Middle East clients.
