The show must go on

Despite the postponement of Taiwan's Computex Exhibition, Gigabyte is going ahead with the show, through an online product showcase and conferencing web site

Taiwan’s Computex show may have been postponed due to problems with SARS, but that has not stopped Gigabyte from exhibiting its new product lines to the international IT markets. Gigabyte has instead launched an online product show, running until June 13th, to showcase its new technologies that would otherwise have been debuted in Taipei.

The online show, at http://computex.gigabyte.com.tw includes detailed product information on various lines, including motherboards graphics cards, desktop and notebooks PCs, optical devices and networking equipment.

The web site also includes an real time online conference facility, that will allow resellers and the media direct contact with Gigabyte. Product specialists from Gigabyte’s Taipei headquarters will be online twice per day, to answers questions about the new products, complete with prizes for conference attendees.

Gigabyte is launching a wide range of products through the online show site, including Intel motherboards with support for Hyper Threading; AMD boards for the latest Athlon XP 3200+ processor; VGA cards using high performance ATI Radeon 9200, 9600 and 9800 graphics chips; the G-Max range of PC Desktops, notebooks and peripherals; rack-mountable servers and server boards using the Intel Xeon processors; and networking equipment including wireless LAN switches, Bluetooth cards and gigabit ethernet ports and switches for SOHO and SMB users.
