CNBC Arabiya, a 24-hour Arabic TV news channel, that is scheduled to open an office at the Dubai Media City this month, will use digital displays and IT products from LG Electronics at its news broadcasting studio.

"For CNBC Arabiya, LG digital display screens offered the best options all round for a live studio environment," says Zafar Siddiqi, chairman and CEO, CNBC Arabiya. "CNBC Arabiya has set exceptionally high quality standards for the look and feel of the channel and therefore, superior performance, reliability and stylish design were prime considerations,” he adds.

LG has released a wide range of LCD screens and PDPs in the local market. The Korean giant has won several awards around the world for its Flatron monitor technology.

"Awards and market leadership lend a great deal of credibility to any
supplier," says PC Choi, president, LG Electronics Gulf FZE. "In
addition, LG Electronics seeks to ensure customer delight and its
after-sales service policy is second-to-none in the Middle East,” he adds.
