Applied Computer Services Company (HASIB) delivers both products and services to the public and private sectors throughout Saudi Arabia. Its key products include the HASIB Government Suite (HGS’2000), which is an integrated financial system for government, and HASIB Power Finance (HPF’2000), an ERP solution for the private sector. Both solutions have been developed inhouse by HASIB on Microsoft Visual Studio.net.

The HPF’2000 suite of apps is a bilingual ERP designed to serve a wide range of companies. It contains a range of modules, including general ledger, accounts, fixed assets, personnel, payroll, sales, stock control and purchasing.

Based on the Oracle Database Management System, the integrated modules eliminate repetition of data entry and minimise cost. As such, users can better manage their business and sharpen their competitive edge.

While the standard package fits most user profiles, the software can also be easily customised. Private sector companies that have already benefited from the suite include STC, Alfahhad Group and Rafha Electricity Company.

Although the public sector has many similar needs to the private, HASIB has addressed many of the differences between the two with its HGS’2000 solution, which contains government specific modules such as governmental category chart of accounts. Current users include King Khalid University, the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the Water & Sewage Authority, the Injustice Council and the General Investment Authority.

Moving forward, the company will build on this strong client base and further develop its services arm, which is committed to helping users improve the way they manage their corporate IT operations, align people and projects behind corporate strategies and control costs. HASIB also provides systems analysis, data migration services, around-the-clock technical support and implementation expertise.

“We are focusing on our applications, such as HGS’2000 and HPF’2000, and we will continue to provide total solutions in the field of information technology,” says Saber Beyram, head of sales & marketing, HASIB.

“We will also be at the forefront of future trends, so as users begin moving towards a n-tier technology instead of a client/server architecture will be able to provide them with both products and services,” he adds.
