The Four Seasons resort in Sharm el Sheikh has been voted one of the top 80 hotels in the world by the Conde Naste Traveler magazine. The Hot Hotels survey, one of the most prestigious hotel surveys, listed 80 of the best new hotels in the world.

The property won top marks for its location – Sharm el Sheikh is a crowded hotel market but wisely, the Four Seasons chose to locate eight miles north, on a new controlled-development cove out of sight of the main town. Prices are modestly in line with other Egyptian resorts, despite far higher standards of service and luxury. The 136 Moorish rooms afford dramatic views of Tiran, an uninhabited mountainous island off shore. The 5,500-square-foot Spa and Wellness Center (the Red Sea’s largest) offers pharaonic-themed scrubs and facials. The hotel also has a dive center and signature restaurants.
