Bond Communications showcases Butler Call system

At this year’s Hotel Show, the network integrator, Bond has been showcasing a Butler Paging System from Commtech Wireless.

Wireless communication systems are gaining momentum in the hospitality sector. At this year’s Hotel Show, network integrator, Bond Communications has been showcasing a Butler Paging System from Commtech Wireless.

Butler Call enables a patron to summon service staff directly to their table or sun chair by the pool through a pager system. The call can be escalated to other members of staff should the request go unanswered.

The system, based on the BASEPage 2000, can also generate reports on staff response times, which can be used by management to plan appropriate staffing levels and identify any coaching requirements.

“We're very confident that the market will respond well to this product and our alliance with Bond Communications will see the Butler Call system hit the ground running. A great deal of effort has been made to ensure this product's completion in time for Bond Communications to release the product to market at this year's Dubai Hotel Show,” says Nathan Buzza, CEO of Commtech Wireless.

According to Bond Communications’ CEO, the Commtech kit is already proving popular with the local market and “is expected to grow rapidly,” he adds.
