Scala Arabia is helping the Kingdom’s companies maximise their operational efficiencies with its collaborative enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform, iScala 2.1. The solution serves a wide range of vertical industries, including service and project based industries, retail, hospitality and the pharmaceutical sector.

In addition to addressing core back office functions such as financials and pay roll, it also helps users effectively run their logistics and distribution, service management, project management and manufacturing.

“With iScala 2.1, the world’s first purpose-built, collaborative ERP platform, businesses can begin to collaborate with their subsidiaries, customers, partners and suppliers. As such, companies can maximise the operating efficiencies of their value chain,” says Scala Arabia’s Syed A. Rahim.

The software is specifically designed to address the needs of medium to large sized operations and provide them with an integrated and comprehensive suite of modules.

“iScala2.1 is multilingual and localised in more than 60 countries. It has full support for the Arabic language and has been awarded the ‘Best ERP Solution’ by Microsoft,” adds Rahim.

In addition, Scala Arabia boasts strong consultancy skills. “Each of our consultants is well versed in best business practices and they are able to understand complex business processes. This enables them to implement sites successfully and this is why all of our implementations in Saudi have been a success,” says Rahim.

With high profile customers, such as Atlas Industrial Equipment Company, already on board, the company is looking to build on the success it has enjoyed in the Kingdom thus far. Key to these plans is an increased focus on its indirect channel and the creation of yet more effective partnerships and convincing customer case studies.

“We will also be expanding our market coverage in terms of new offices and employees as we continue to provide a comprehensive solution for our clients. Furthermore, when we launch iScala 2.2, we will be able to take a huge chunk of the Saudi market,” adds Rahim.
