LG has expanded its monitor range with the launch of three new Flatron displays. The company hopes to build on the successful sales of its monitor range, which last year grew 24% to $133 million in Middle East and Africa.

The three monitors are aimed at different sectors of the market. The L1510M is a 15” LCD monitor with 1024x768 resolution and onboard speakers. It is wall mountable and is built with a slim bezel design and is intended for SMB and SOHO customers.

The L1710S and L1810M are also slim bezel design monitors, with 17” and 18” LCD screens respectively. The displays are mounted on swivel bases that allow the monitor to be rotated through 360 degrees; and have an enhanced viewing angle of 5 to 30 degrees due to an anti-glare coating. The L1810M also comes with built in speakers.

“This LCD monitor trio add greater choice to the wide range of LG monitors already available in the region," said Michael Kim, product manager, LG Electronics Gulf.

“Each has its own distinct style, features and characteristics complimenting the respective size category it represents. All three of the new screens benefit from LG’s Flatron legacy which have so far reaped over 30 international awards. LG Electronics plans to launch more models in its Flatron range very soon, further increasing its grip on monitor leadership in the Middle East,” he added.
