Expanding its commitment to the region, HP has opened three new service centres to cater for HP consumer needs in Saudi Arabia.

Centres based in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al-Khobar will offer customers support for HP PCs, servers, printers, and many other peripherals according to the company.

Fawwaz Qadan, general manager of HP Services in Saudi Arabia said it was the right time for HP to further its commitment in the region. "We have always offered our customers the highest quality products supported by our network of partners throughout the Kingdom. Given the huge growth that HP has enjoyed in Saudi Arabia across the last five years we believed that the time was now right to establish these centres."

HP customers in Saudi Arabia will now have access to fully certified HP engineers that can deal with any product and warranty queries they might have. Meanwhile the company is also launching a toll-free service through which customers can receive product advice and information, technical assistance and repair status information.

"We have been very ambitious in the service targets that we have set," said Khalid Hussein, customer support manager, HP Services in Saudi Arabia. "So our customers in Saudi Arabia are assured of our highest level of commitment by extending our worldwide branded services to ensure their needs are met in [terms of] quality and time."
