SerVonic has improved the usability of its unified messaging platform, IXI-UMS Mobile, with the release of version 4. As well as redesigning the platform, serVonic is providing users with a greater variety of options in terms of scenarios and profiles.

In the Voice Box feature, users are able to select from a list of profiles, for example they can select the vacation or office scenarios.

“If the user selects the profile Vacation they could switch to the announcement ‘I am on holiday. Please refer to my colleague x, y, z’ or with the profile Office, ‘I am currently not at my desk, please leave a message and I will call you back,’” explains the vendor.

The updated version of IXI-UMS Mobile also offers support for a wider range of languages, and also automatically adjust the language requirements by identifying the caller’s telephone number or users can stipulate the language settings for a particular caller.

Additionally, administrators can set restrictions on inboxes and only allow users to access them through predefined telephone numbers, such as their mobile or work number.
