Business Strategies Group, the regional distributor of Business Objects in the Middle East, has been teaching local companies how to cut costs and increase productivity at its recent seminar.

Attendees not only heard about the benefits of e-business intelligence, but they were also introduced to trends such as KPIs, balance scorecards and management dashboards.

The underlying theme for the event was that the strategic application of business intelligence improves organisational effectiveness.

“The alignment of strategy and operations is key to ultimate business success,” said Nasser Tufail, managing director of Business Strategies Group.

According to Piet Loubser, director of business development at Business Objects, the vendor’s Dashboard Manager product is one of the best ways to achieve this as it delivers management dashboards, scorecards and alerting capabilities to the enterprise.

“With the introduction of BusinessObjects Dashboard Manager, we can provide our customers with the leading metrics management product, giving them the ability to more effectively track and manage their business,” added Tufail.
