The Qatar Foundation has today announced that it has chosen Hyperlink, the technology integration firm, to begin implementing an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for its back office environment.

It has chosen Hyperlink to implement an Oracle-based solution that will automate the financials, human resources, and distribution set-ups within the Qatar Foundation. The solution will help the Foundation to streamline its financial and human resources procedures within the different centres.

“We are happy to be working with a leading regional business consultancy provider such as Hyperlink who has created a comprehensive solution aimed at streamlining all of our current and future operations while providing accurate and timely financial reporting,” said Dr. Saif Al-Hajari, Interim Managing Director of the Qatar Foundation.

The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is a private, non-profit organization, which was founded in 1995 on the personal initiative of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir and Head of the State of Qatar.

Hyperlink was established in 1997 to provide business solutions for medium and large-scale organisations and Dani Diab, Executive Vice President-General Manager of Hyperlink, feels this latest deal pays testament to their solid track record in the region.

He said: “hyperlink has established itself as a leading Oracle solutions implementer in the region, our vast experience and acknowledged expertise in delivering custom-made solutions to our extensive clientele has been instrumental in creating a position of trust in the regional markets. Our strength in the educational sector and a thorough knowledge of the Qatar market has also been very beneficial.”
