“Datastrip’s innovative software, hardware and biometric verification devices was seen as an important addition to our portfolio” said Simon Najib Haidar, FTE’s marketing projects manager. “Their 2D code provides the high capacity required to store text, photographs and biometric templates, and together with such high performance products as the DSVerify2D reader and verification device will enable us to provide a simplified solution to many complex applications such as national ID programmes, voter registration, driver’s licence, passports, visas etc.”

The partnership will strengthen both Datastrip and Future Trends position in the market place,” added Patrick Gilmore, Datastrip’s business development director for Africa & Middle East. “FTE’s commitment was demonstrated by its staff’s understanding and awareness of our technology and products, enhancing the existing offering by FTE providing total solutions to government agencies and commercial organisations throughout the Middle East.”
