Acer is to launch a new channel strategy for the Egyptian market, as it seeks to tap into the country’s rising demand. As such, it has signed partnership deals with MANTRAC and M.A.S Egypt, who will respectively supply Acer’s PCs and peripherals to the market.

The vendors has also reached new agreements with three of the country’s leading resellers - Tea Computers, Egyptcomp, and Compuserve. All these companies will receive ongoing support from Acer to ensure the highest possible standards of service for end users, including access to high end technical support and a dedicated web site containing up to the minute product, marketing and other useful information.

“The new strategy is designed to make our most advanced technology available to the Egyptian market immediately upon release, and provide excellent standards of customer service through our authorised distributors and resellers,” says Basem Ewaiwi, regional sales manager, CIS & East Mediterranean, Acer Computer.
