Acotel Middle East to supply SMS Centre to Mobitel Sudan

Wireless Application Service Provider (WASP), Acotel has been awarded a contract to supply Mobitel Sudan with a high-capacity SMS centre to meet the requirements of its expanding subscriber base.

Wireless Application Service Provider (WASP), Acotel has been awarded a contract to supply Mobitel Sudan with a high-capacity SMS centre to meet the requirements of its expanding subscriber base. Under the agreement, Jinny Software Limited will supply the technical platform for Mobitel.

“The selection of Acotel was an obvious decision for us, because it offered a complete solution, including all possible SMS features, as well as offering a simple cost-effective upgrade path for the long term,” says Hisham Mustafa Allam, planning & IT director, Mobitel.

“We were particularly impressed with Acotel’s focus on the Middle East, through its network of offices in Beirut, Amman and Dubai,” he adds.

According to Bashar Dahabra, general manager of Acotel Middle East, the project will become a showcase implementation for Alcoptel as it looks to expand its customer base throught the region.

“This contract with Mobitel will allow Acotel to demonstrate to the region its full potential of Jinny Software,” he says.
