Al Fujairah National Insurance Company will begin implementing ICICI Infotech’s Premia software next month. The solution, which is an industry specific Oracle based application, will allow the company to integrate its business processes and ease data access across the enterprise. As such, Al Fujairah National Insurance hopes it will boost customer service levels across the board.

“We chose the Premia solution as we felt it boasted [the] advanced capabilities that will enable us to succeed in our aim to service the insurance needs of our customers with risk-free efficiency,” says Dr. Salem Abdo Khalil, advisor the Government of Fujairah’s department of industry & economy and director of Al Fujairah National Insurance Company.

“By implementing Premia across our operations in the region, and integrating our business processes on one internet-enabled platform, our employees will have timely access to critical information, increased ability to handle more volumes of business at high speeds, [thereby] providing customers with a higher level of service,” he adds.

The implementation is being carried out simultaneously across Al Fujairah National Insurance’s operations in Fujairah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Dibba-Al Fujairah. In addition to boosting customer service levels, the software should also enable the company to cut costs as it simplifies management through the integration of insurance activities such as underwriting, claims, re-insurance and accounts.

“Premia is a strategic investment for Fujairah National Insurance in the sense that the application will enhance their ability to better service their customers and pro-actively manage their operations,” comments Kalpesh Desai, vice President, enterprise solutions, ICICI Infotech MEA.
