Dubai e-Government has joined the campaign to raise humanitarian aid for the Iraqi people. The government agency, on behalf of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Foundation, has developed an e-Contribution channel on the government e-services portal—www.dubia.ae.

“As an organisation devoted to the task of delivering humanitarian aid at crisis points, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Foundation is committed to doing all it can to alleviate the suffering of the Iraqi people,” says Ibrahim Bu Melha, vice-chairman, board of trustees, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Foundation.

“In today’s digital age, it is fitting that we have moved to rendering humanitarian assistance electronically through e-Contribution.”

“E-Contribution is Dubai e-Government’s response to a humanitarian crisis unfolding in Iraq,” says Salem Al Shair, director of e-Services Dubai e-Government.

“We are offering an instant and convenient way of supporting Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Foundation in these times of grave crises by offering the services of our portal to enable thousands of people to donate to a deserving and humanitarian cause. We would like to encourage all people to donate generously to express their solidarity with the people of Iraq,” he adds
