Emirates Computers takes aim at defence customers

Emirates Computers and partner Lightpointe are targetting customers in the defence industry, through participation at this year's IDEX in Abu Dhabi.

Emirates Computers is looking to increase its customer base in the defence sector, through participation in the 6th International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX). The show is the largest defence exhibition in the region, and Emirates Computers is aiming to attract custom from the market, along with technical partner Lightpointe.

Lightpointe specialises in design and manufacture of carrier-grade optical networks, and along with Emirates Computers range of IT services, will be looking to showcase its solutions to attendees. Over 860exhibitors from 40 countries are expected at the Abu Dhabi show, which provides a major regional showcase for military technology.

Hani Harik, president of Emirates Computers commented: “IDEX is ranked as the leading exhibition of its kind in the region. We believe that our participation at the event is indeed crucial as it provides us with the perfect platform to broaden our target audience and penetrate a wider market.

“The presence of our partner Lightpointe will also prove to be immensely beneficial as it is a reflection of our seriousness at expanding our client base,” he added. “In addition, it also provides visitors with the opportunity to gain first hand information on the various IT related solutions that we provide and the Lightpointe products that are utilised in the implementation process.”
