EIM is to aid doctors by hosting a seminar about improving internal processes and staff efficiency within the health service. The event, which takes place on February 27, will be held at Etisalat’s offices in Ras Al Khaimah.

The aim of the seminar will be to highlight how the internet can speed many of the day to day tasks carried out by Emirate’s medical professionals. It will offer an introduction to the internet, as well as how it can be used for more than just browsing for information. This will be particularly tailored to the medical profession.

“The aim of this session is to help bring our medical professionals up-to-date with developments in communication on the Web,” says Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, general manager, Etisalat, Rais Al Khama. “Technology is affecting every part of this profession and the internet is an integral part of these changes. We hope the attendees will take with them a fuller understanding of what can be achieved by utilising electronic resources.”

“Technology is now a business critical function throughout all aspects of the health industry,” adds Dr Yasser Al Naomi, general manager, RAK Medical District. “EIM’s efforts to inform our staff will greatly enhance the awareness of technology and how it can help to improve the service the offer.”
