Teknowledgy One has announced the Middle East’s first knowledge management conference. The event, called the Knowledge Management Summit 2003, will take place next month in Dubai.

Held in association with DIC and Knowledge Village, the conference aims to promote the use of knowledge management with the Middle East. The region has been slow to adopt this technology and it is hoped that the conference will boost local awareness levels.

The summit will feature presentations from a number of global experts in the field. Among those in the line up are Ruddy Ruggles, senior manager, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Centre for Business Innovation, Karl Wiig, chairman & CEO of Knowledge Research Institute and Stephen Denning, ex-program director for knowledge management at the World Bank.

The conference will take place at the Burj Al Arab on February 8-9.
