Taking it on the road

DCS is set to showcase its range of Intel-based PCs across the GCC. Keep an eye out if you want learn more about new technology that is hitting the market.

Direct Computer Systems (DCS) held a promotion at Deira City Centre over the Christmas period aimed at educating users on the benefits of Intel’s new 3GHz processor and related technology. DCS plans to take this roadshow across the region in a bid to educate computer users and promote its products.

Chief among the features being shown off is the world’s fastest Intel Pentium 4 CPU running at 3.06 Ghz speed, in the Digital eXPerience 3000 HT Series of PCs. The DIGITAL Series systems uses hyper-threading, which delivers multi-tasking ability and increased performance.

Also on display were games for children such as Microsoft’s Combat Flight stimulator, Rally Sports and Age of Mythology. DCS was also showing off the world’s smallest desktop PC, the AtoZ EZgo, which weighs less than 1kg and still packs a punch with a 2.4GHz Pentium 4 Processor, 256 MB of memory and a 20GB hard disk.
