Vertscape eases process management with eWorkflow

UAE-based developer, Vertscape is bringing its business process automation product to the local market. The eWorkflow application, which is based on the Microsoft.NET platform, enables organisations to rollout component-based web services, which are configured to a company’s business needs.

“Vertscape eWorkflow draws on the company’s extensive expertise of Web Service technologies to offer versatile tools for business automation in any organisation,” says Chirag Patel, partner & director of products and strategy, Vertscape.

“Deployed on Microsoft’s .NET platform, our Workflow Web Service offers [an] easy-to-use solution to the common problem faced by organisations as they grapple with the task of keeping track of what is going on at different levels once the business process has been set in motion,” he adds.

The application’s administration management tool enables an organisation to assign workflow routing process, modify workflow, define roles and workflow as per business rules, assign workflow to category of processes, configure business intelligence and enable event based routing procedures.

“Workflow has become a key driver when it comes to automation of a business process in which documents, information or tasks are passed from one participant to another for action according to a set of procedural rules,” explains Patel.

“Vertscape eWorkflow solution ensures that work does not get misplaced or unduly stalled, leaving managers to focus on key business issues such as individual performance and optimal procedures rather than routine assignment of tasks,” he adds.

Other features offered in eWorkflow include tracking for viewing the status of a particular action or incident; document attachment and management functions; audit trail reporting providing complete history of information flow; signature support within each workflow step and a dashboard view of workflow within each business process.
