NBD portal gets face lift

In an effort to improve its online customer service and provide additional features to its clients, the National Bank of Dubai has solicited the services of Emirates Computers. The implementation of the solution, which is currently underway, will give customers the option of Internet banking functionality and its integration with the CRM package.

In an effort to improve its online customer service and provide additional features to its clients, the National Bank of Dubai has solicited the services of Emirates Computers. The implementation of the solution, which is currently underway, will give customers the option of Internet banking functionality and its integration with the CRM package.

“The decision to revamp our web site and make it user friendly will provide added value to our customers as well as increase the number of visitors to the site,” commented Sue Evans, head of IS&T, National Bank of Dubai. “We have chosen Emirates Computers to implement this solution which is both technologically advanced and cost effective and will provide the portal with high processing power and strong multimedia support,” she added.

The proposed solution will enable higher integration, flexibility and scalability demanded by online systems. The integration of the systems with various transaction engines will help the bank improve customer relationships, reach more prospects as well as attract and retain customers through enhanced customer relationship management functions. It will also give the bank the freedom to select the best transaction platform and strategy to suit its various needs and requirements.
