Network training specialist The Network Center (TNC) has cleaned up at Extreme Networks European Education Awards. The awards, which recognise high standards in network training, were presented in Amsterdam at the end of last month. TNC won awards for best authorised training partner and best trainer in all five categories for Extreme Networks in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

Jos Van Overbeek, Extreme education manager EMEA said: “TNC has done a great job, delivering top quality education across a wide region while operating in relative isolation from the EMEA headquarters and other European Authorised Training Partners. We at Extreme congratulate TNC on a job well done.”

“We are incredibly happy to have done so well in competition with major international heavyweights,” commented Lisa Rutherford, general manager of TNC. “Our senior instructor, Mark Heard, and the whole team have worked very hard establishing Extreme education in the Middle East and Africa, and the awards underline their efforts covering ground from Saudi Arabia to Botswana and Malaysia with the same high quality standard of delivery.”

“We are proud to be partnered with Extreme Networks,” Mark Heard, TNC senior instructor, said. “We’ve had very strong support from Extreme offices both in the MEA region and in Europe. We have trained around 200 students to different levels since we commenced this particular program. At the top of the tree, we certified thirteen Extreme Network Specialist graduates in the MEA area this year and hope to see more attain this prestigious certification in future.”
