Jataayu Software has unveiled SMS eXchange, a general purpose SMS messaging platform for enterprises and mobile operators. Designed to enhance employee communication and improve access to enterprise information the solution, the solution also provides users with instant alerts and an easy-to-use interface.

“SMS eXchange is a significant addition to the office communication systems which have been dominated by voice, e-mail, and fax [until now]. It provides a truly unique bridge between the ubiquity of SMS and the efforts to mobile-enable enterprises”, says Mr. Mahesh Jain, CEO of Jataayu Software.

Initially, the Indian company will be targeting customer relationship management and office communication with it’s the SMS exchange solution. When deployed in an office environment, for example, SMS eXchange allows users to send messages from their mobile phones to anyone in the office network. Users that receive the SMS can then respond from their desktop-based Popup Messenger, should they so wish.

“This simplicity of use will allow people to start benefiting from SMS eXchange very quickly,” says Dr. Gopalakrishna, director at Jataayu.

“Jataayu’s SMS eXchange has been built to address all possible needs of office communications and integration of SMS with applications of any enterprise and mobile operator. In addition, it provides an effective Intranet Messenger for internal communication and SMS,” he adds.
