Liquefied natural gas company, RasGas, is looking to improve its internet presence by deploying PublishArabia. The web service solution, which the Qatar-based organisation has purchased from Horizons, allows RasGas to create and publish rich, structured web sites. At the same time, the offering’s content management solution is designed to allow both technical and non-technical users publish information to the internet.

“RasGas considers providing its latest information to its shareholders and the public through modern communication technologies, like the internet, a priority,” says Abdulla H. Al-Abdulla, the administration manager of RasGas.

Based on Horizons’ Knowledge Server content management platform and Microsoft .Net technologies, the PublishArabia service will help RasGas deliver a wide array of rich content, including latest news, corporate reports, company profile, and coverage for various activities and events.

“We are very excited about being given the opportunity to enable RasGas to take advantage of modern internet technologies to communicate its goals, activities and achievements,” says Horizons' CEO, Mohammad Takriti.
