Seven Seas has been signed up as a Sage partner to sell its SalesLogix CRM solution. The agreement is intended to increase Sage’s penetration into what the vendor says is a growing sector—customer relationship management for the mid-market.

Seven Seas has carried out a number of SalesLogix deployments in the Middle East region, through a partnership with the company’s European office, but the new partnership with Sage Middle East aims to drive the business at a local level.

“This move by Sage Middle East adds significant momentum to the SalesLogix push in the UAE,” said Mehboob Hamza, director of People & Strategy, Seven Seas. “The value add of having dedicated OEM local support in country combined with the value–add and experience we have internally at Seven Seas will see us capitalise on a vast market opportunity in the mid-range CRM space. SalesLogix hits this sweetspot of price combined with high functionality which will bring the benefits of a CRM installation to the SME market,” added Hamza.

“Seven Seas has been a SalesLogix partner for some time through Europe and has a number of successful SalesLogix implementations. We are delighted to continue this association with Seven Seas in the region and see considerable business opportunities through the partnership,” said Shishir Srivastava, executive director of Sage Software Middle East.

“One of the reasons why Sage choose Seven Seas is because they use SalesLogix themselves and are well positioned to explain the benefits of CRM to local companies. Seven Seas has also developed add-ons such as Voice Integration for help desks and call centres, and integration to other software packages such as Lotus Notes,” Srivastava added.
