Samir Digital Technology is trumpeting Kodak’s EasyShare line of digital cameras on its stand at Gitex 2002.

The camera line-up includes the LS443, with a four megapixel resolution that provides prints up to twenty by 30 inches in size. Kodak adopted a 3x optical zoom lens from Schneider for this model, which is enhanced by a 3.3x digital zoom.

The LS420 is a ‘special edition’ camera that comes in a unique slender body design. With just over two million pixels of resolution it can produce prints comparable to silver halide photography of up to eight by ten inches in size.

There are at least five other cameras currently in the series, catering almost exclusively for amateur photographers.

The Kodak EasyShare system also includes a dedicated camera docking station which, permanently connected to your PC, provides a quick and easy way to download images whilst, at the same time, recharging the camera. The cameras also feature built-in memory as well as a socket for MMC/SD flash memory cards.

At Gitex Computer Shopper, Samir Digital Technology has doubled its presence compared to 2001. The company is also featuring Sealife underwater cameras and Memorex products.
