MICROSOFT Business Solutions, a division of Microsoft Corporation, is displaying its supply chain management and manufacturing software at this year’s show.

Recently acquired by Microsoft, Navision has galvanised Microsoft Business Solutions’ product selection with the addition of Microsoft Navision Axapta and Microsoft Navision Attain.

Chris Harris, Microsoft Business Solutions’ regional director for the Middle East and Africa, says the complementary visions of Microsoft Great Plains and Navision [Microsoft Business Solutions] are helping customers improve profitability through increased scope and depth of Microsoft’s existing product technology.

Microsoft Navision Axapta is an enterprise resource management (ERM) solution that can be adapted to assist unique business processes quickly and cost-effectively, helping regional businesses to reduce costs and improve customer service — a win win situation for all parties.

Axapta works to enable enterprises to manage product planning, parts purchasing, maintaining inventories, interacting with suppliers, providing customer service, and tracking orders.

Alternatively, Microsoft Navision Attain allows companies to utilise staff time and resources by streamlining internal and external business processes, resulting in employees being able to respond quickly and effectively to new revenue opportunities.

Venkat Raman, country manager of Microsoft Business Solutions Middle East, explains: “For years, regional SMEs have demanded solid supply chain management and manufacturing solutions."

“Microsoft Business Solutions, through its Navision products, Axapta and Attain, is now in a position to meet the Middle East's urgent requirement for leading-edge, vertical industry, ERM solutions."
