Emirates Computers is building on its Gitex successes of previous years with a continuation of its theme-based stand. Last year's theme was Helping Clients Rebuild Their Business, and the aim was to push companies into rethinking their business processes. This year's theme is simply Rebuild.

The focus is on solutions that are designed to ensure important information is forwarded to the correct individuals in a company, no matter where the person is located at that moment. Emirates Computers is highlighting the efficiency of these solutions through and demonstrating the concept of the 24-hour worker who can deliver against the limitations of time, geography and technology.
Hani Harik, president of Emirates Computers, said: “Re-engineering business processes remains the key aim of Emirates Computers operations. We have devised integrated systems that enable optimum automation between the front and back office applications, with the use of advanced solutions and knowledge management tools from our international partners like Microsoft.

“Our major focus is now on wireless devices that facilitate the 24-hour worker.
“We chose to continue with the Gitex 2001 theme because we realised that last year we were ahead of our time.”
