R-TECH, the technology division of Al-Rashid Trading Corporation, announced a new agreement with Net To Net technologies at the show yesterday. The deal will see the Saudi-based company handle the distribution of Net To Net’s products across the Middle East.

“Since consolidating our position in the Nordic and, more recently, in central European markets, we are now eagerly looking to expand into southern Europe and the Middle East,” says Keith Holt, managing director EMEA, Net To Net.

“We have chosen Al-Rashid Trading Corporation to represent us in the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia because of their professional abilities and understanding of the key local markets,” he continues.

“Gitex is the most important I.T. exhibition in the region,” adds Omar A. Al-Rashid, managing director, Al-Rashid Trading. “It helps to build cultural awareness and allows for deals such as this one.”

Al-Rashid specialises in providing broadband internet solutions for hotels, multi-dwelling units, multi-tenant units and campuses. The deal with Net To Net will see the company offering a range of XDSL solutions to ISPs and the hospitality sector.
