BEA Systems is launching the latest edition of its WebLogic Platform, version 7.0, at this year’s show. The WebLogic platform is designed to allow companies to integrate all enterprise application development on a single infrastructure, to make deployment of web services simpler and quicker.

Diyaa Zebian, business development manager, eSolutions BEA, explained: “Leading business organisations today are on the lookout for an integrated solution that meets all enterprise application requirements through a single framework, as this facilitates the development of cost-effective systems that can be incorporated into a workflow. The WebLogic 7.0 platform, which features an integrated application server combined with development, portal and integration frameworks, allows us to enhance customer satisfaction, improve revenue opportunities and achieve higher levels of operational efficiency.”

BEA also announced that it is to open a regional support centre to help win customers in the Middle East, a market that Zebian said is of growing importance. “We are confident that the platform, which has made such a difference globally, will find many customers in the region,” he said.
