OnLine’s stand is packed with a variety of networking solutions and products from a host of vendors, including 3Com, Symbol, NORDX/CDT, Molex and Cisco. The distributor is also organising seminars and presentations to explain the technologies.

3Com’s SuperStack 3 NBX networked telephony solution is one of the highlights for showgoers. The enterprise class business communications system is designed for both central and branch offices, allowing anywhere from two to 1000 phones to be connected per location. The vendor’s range of local area network (LAN) switching products and firewall and filtering solutions are also on display.

Symbol’s Mobius Axon Wireless LAN System is making its debut at the show, linking up to the vendor’s handheld terminals and mobile computers.

Continuing the network theme, Cisco solutions on display will include its PIX Firewalls and Site-to-site virtual private networks (VPNs). There is also a live demonstration of its Aironet Wireless Bridging platform, connecting various locations on the stand.

OnLine is also catering to cabling requirements of users with NORDX’s booth showcasing IBDN coppoer and fibre optic technologies, including the IBDN GigaBIX Cross Connect System and the Gigabit IBDN System 4800LX.

Topping the bill for Molex is its recently launched Real Time Patching System, which provides an intelligent management solution to monitor and control physical network layers and associated hardware.
Adding to the array of networking products available on the stand is APW with its range of cabinets and cable/server management solutions, which can be used to supervise structured cabling systems.
