Adobe Systems and its partner WinSoft — the company responsible for translating Adobe’s offerings into Arabic — will be demonstrating Adobe InDesign 2.0 ME at this year’s Gitex.

Touted to be the cornerstone of Adobe’s latest print publishing solution, the software was developed with the feedback of graphics professionals from around the world.

Adobe InDesign 2.0 ME boasts a number of new features, including XML import/ export support, table creation and improved transparency. The latter allows designers to quickly produce effects that previously required other applications, while users can also apply editable drop shadows, feathering and opacity settings to objects.

“InDesign 2.0 ME also boasts tighter integration with other Adobe products and enables users to exercise design innovation and improve productivity,” says Pierre Blangero, chief executive of WinSoft .
