Computer Associates (CA) is staking its claim to the Middle East’s emerging e-business market at Gitex. The vendor’sstand, which will cover more than 144 square metres, will include demonstrations of CA solutions from its extensive product portfolio and include displays from the vendor’s local implementation partners.

“By expanding the size and scope of our presence at this year’s event, we are expecting to accommodate more visitors which can get acquainted with our six focus area solutions,” says Dan van der Westhuizen, CA’ senior VP for Middle East & Africa.

Gitex helps us in generating significant sales leads as well as provide us with opportunities to exchange ideas with our existing customer base and partners across the region,” he adds.

Making its Gitex debut this year is CA’s client value corner, which provides potential customers with an opportunity to seek clarifications on CA products with the vendor’s existing user base. CA’s client value corner hopes to draw large corporations from across the region, which will act as references for its brand areas Unicenter, eTrust , BrightStor, Advantage, AllFusion and CleverPath.

“CA-ME's unique client value corner will offer the Gitex visitors, which are looking at deploying CA technology with the option of talking with an experienced user of that solution,” says Abdulaziz Al Salloum, MD, CA Middle East.
